Tigress Sundari Tranquilised by Odisha Forest Officials

Bhubaneswar:Nearly affter two weeks of operation, Royal Bengal tigress Sundari was today tranquilised by the Odisha Forest Department in  Satkosia Tiger Reserve in Angul District.

Confirming this, PCCF (wildlife) chief Sandeep Tripathy said a team of expert  tranquilised the tigress near Majhipada forest in  Satkosia Tiger Reserve.

Elephant  Jasoda , which was brought from Chandaka forest,  was used in the tranquillization of the tigress, he added.
