Hunain Shah, the 19-year-old brother of Pakistani speedster Naseem Shah, made his debut in the cricket world on Friday by taking six wickets in just his fourth List A match against Lahore Blues and Faisalabad in Rawalpindi.
With one maiden and six wickets for 26 runs in 7.2 overs, Hunain wrecked havoc on the Faisalabadi batsmen.
With the wicket of Mohammad Huraira, who was trapped LBW for just five runs, the 19-year-old’s miraculous run got underway.
Subsequently, Hunain claimed the wickets of Arham Nawaz, Mohammad Saleem, Ali Shan, and Mohammad Irfan Khan. However, the most significant scalp came from Pakistani international Asif Ali, who was bowled by the 19-year-old following an inside edge on a short delivery.

Lahore defeated Faisalabad by a comfortable margin of 94 runs because to an incredible performance by Hunain and other bowlers.
Lahore, batting first, had lost three wickets for just 33 runs and had not got off to a good start. However, their middle order delivered, leading their team to a respectable total.
Together, these hitters—Umar Siddiq with 46 off 41, Hussain Talat with 39, Qasim Akram with 33, Junaid Ali with 47, and Umaid Asif with 41—made sure that their team didn’t get out before establishing a target that could be reached.
It should be mentioned that Hunain had previously dazzled Pakistani cricket fans when, in a Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2023–24 match between Karachi Whites and Lahore, he struck out Saim Ayub, a potential left-handed opener, with his first ball.

It is important to note that Naseem Shah is presently recuperating from the shoulder injury he sustained at the 2023 Asia Cup, which forced him to miss the current ICC World Cup.
