Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government today transferred five IAS officers in a minor reshuffle with Higher Education Director Dhiren Kumar Patnaik being appointed as Additional Commissioner of Gopabandhu Academy of Administration in Bhubaneswar.
The post of Additional Commissioner, Gopabandhu Academy of Administration is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Additional Secretary to Government provided in the IAS cadre of the State.
In a notification, the General Administration & Public Grievance Department mentioned that Ratnakar Rout, Managing Director of Odisha Small Industries Corporation has been appointed as Chief Executive, OREDA.
The post of Chief Executive, OREDA is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Additional Secretary to Government provided in the IAS cadre of the State.
The additional appointment of Roopa Mishra as Chief Executive of OREDA shall stand terminated from the date Ratnakar Rout takes over charge, the notification said.
Sarat Chandra Nayak, Vice-Chairman of Cuttack Development Authority, has been appointed as Cuttack Municipal Corporation Commissioner. The post is also declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Joint Secretary to Government provided in the IAS cadre of the State.
B Parameswaran, Higher Education Department Joint Secretary has been appointed as Director, Higher Education in place of Dhiren Kumar Patnaik.
The post of Director, Higher Education is declared equivalent in status and responsibility to the post of Joint Secretary to Government.
Swadha Dev, Deputy Secretary in Planning & Convergence Department, has been appointed as Additional Commissioner, Bhubaneswar Development Authority.
