CM Naveen Patnaik Pays Tribute to Aid Workers on World Humanitarian Day

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik paid tribute to aid workers across the world risking their lives in humanitarian service on the occasion of World Humanitarian Day today.

In his message on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that Conflicts have caused irreparable losses, leaving charred memories for children in those regions.

“Let there be peace & a tomorrow that’s bereft of violence and hatred”, Naveen noted.

World Humanitarian Day is a day dedicated to recognize humanitarian personnel and those who have lost their lives working for humanitarian causes. It was first marked on 19 August 2003 by the United Nations General Assembly.
