Bhubaneswar: Oscar-winning music composer A.R. Rahman will enthrall the Odisha’s Millennium City ‘Cuttack’ with his live performance as part of the Men’s Hockey World Cup celebrations.
The Grammy and Academy award winning musician will perform in Cuttack on 28 November, a day after the inauguration ceremony of the mega sporting event at the iconic Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.
Rahman, through his Twitter handle, expressed that he is delighted to perform at the Millennium City.

The Bollywood legend will either perform at Barabati or Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Cuttack. However, it is not finalized yet.
Meanwhile, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik thanked Rahman for showing his love for hockey by promoting HWC 2018 in Cuttack.
The residents of Millennium City will get a live glimpse of the Hockey World Cup anthem that the entire country is waiting to hear, the Chief Minister said.

Sixteen teams will be taking part in the Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup Bhubaneswar 2018 to be held from 28 November to 16 December.
