Batting first, India started strong with a key 123-run first-wicket partnership between Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan.
Dhawan perished on 43 runs off Allen’s delivery and Rishabh Pant too followed him at a score of 5 runs. Lokesh Rahul played some strong shots and accompanied skipper Rohit Sharma till the end of the innings.
Rohit Sharma yet again played a big inning, scoring his 4th T20 international century, he remained unbeaten on 111 runs.
Rohit also surpassed Virat Kohli to become the highest T20 scorer for India with 2117 runs in 86 matches. Virat Kohli has 2102 runs in 62 matches.
West Indies yet again had a bad start, Khaleel dismissed Shai Hope and Hetmyer and soon Darren Bravo too returned to the pavilion, Windies lost three key players even before reaching 50-run mark.
Kuldeep picked 2 wickets in the same over and there was no looking back for India after that.
Barring Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar, Khaleel, Bumrah and Kuldeep picked 2 wickets each.
Darren Bravo looked good with shot selection but he couldn’t stick to the wicket for long. West Indies skipper Brathwaite remained unbeaten for 15 runs, apart from that, Keemo Paul contributed 20 runs.
The remaining T20 has become dead rubber as India have already clinched the series with the unassailable lead of 2-0.
