From making his debut for India U-19 against Sri Lanka U-19 in a youth Test, to taking a wicket in his very first over of that match, it has been an exciting time for Arjun Tendulkar recently.
We all know Arjun, son of India great Sachin Tendulkar, is a man of ability. He is an all-rounder when it comes to the game of cricket and recently acted in his father’s biopic, Sachin: A Billion Dreams.
On Friday, the 18-year-old turned groundsman to help the staff at a rain-swept Lord’s. The official Twitter account of Lord’s Cricket Ground tweeted that Tendulkar junior had lent a helping hand to the staff at the Home of Cricket. “👋 Arjun Tendulkar! Not only has he been training with @MCCYC4L recently & but he has also been lending a helping hand to our Groundstaff!”
Rain had washed out the entire first day’s play at Lord’s and when play started on the second day, India were reduced to 11/2 before rain once again played spoilsport.
India are trailing England 1-0 after going down by 31 runs in the first match of the series .
