Chennai: While the polling for second phase elections in 95 constituencies across 11 States and one Union Territory is underway, South Indian film stars including Rajinikanth turned up to cast their votes.
Besides Superstar Rajinikanth, music maestro AR Rahman, actor-politician Kamal Haasan, along with actress daughter Shruti used their rights to vote in the election.
The Oscar-winning musician also took to his social media account to share a picture of his inked finger.

While Rajinikanth voted at Stella Maris College in Chennai, Makkal Needhi Maiam chief Kamal Haasan and his daughter Shruti Haasan voted at polling station 27 at Alwarpet Corporation School in Chennai.
Similarly, Tamil stars Vijay, Suriya and Superstar Ajith voted for their constituencies.
Notably, polling is being held across 39 seats in Tamil Nadu, 14 seats in Karnataka, 10 in Maharashtra, eight in Uttar Pradesh, five seats each in Odisha, Bihar and Assam, two in Jammu and Kashmir and one seat each in Manipur and Puducherry.
