Bhubaneswar: In a big reboot to the economic and industrial activities, the Odisha Government is framing new Industrial Policy to lure the investors to the State.
Briefing the media, the State Government’s Chief Spokesperson on COVID-19, Subrata Bagchi said that Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has entrusted officials to design a new industrial policy to lure investors and bring the industrial activities to normalcy post lockdown period.
The new Industrial Policy would be a model industrial policy in the country, an official said.
The policy is eyeing to attract both foreign and domestic investment in Odisha.
Meanwhile new economic order is being emerged world over and the foreign investors are leaving China and industrial policy is being prepared to attract them.
Odisha is one of the major investment destinations in the country.
