Odisha Govt Employees to Get 6% DA Hike

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government on Thursday hiked the dearness allowance (DA) of its employees from 142 per cent to 148 per cent, an official statement said.

The employees working under the Odisha Revised Pay Scale (ORSP) Rules, 2008 will get six per cent DA hike retrospectively from 1 July 2018, the State Finance Department said in a gazette notification.

The employees who are getting salaries as per the recommendations of the sixth pay commission will get a DA hike of 6 per cent in the basic pay and grade pay, the notification said.

The Additional amount of DA will be given in cash and can be drawn in the Pay Bill of November 2018 onwards, the Finance Department said.

The hike has been approved by Finance Minister Shashi Bhusan Behera.
