Why some Bad Bunny fans believe his new song, ‘Un Preview,’ is about Kendall Jenner,

Is Bad Bunny’s new hot track a love letter to his girlfriend and certified horse girl Kendall Jenner? Many admirers surely believe so.

On Monday, the reggaetón sensation released his latest single, “Un Preview,” and internet sleuths wasted no time deconstructing the seductive, lovestruck lyrics on social media.

The popular belief is that Bad Bunny wrote the love song for his current girlfriend, Jenner, who has been linked to the “Un Verano Sin Ti” artist since February.

“Baby, I’m not afraid / Of trying you and falling in love again,” Bad Bunny sings on the single, according to Genius’ Spanish-to-English translation.

“F— it, mami, I’ll go with you, ayy / I’ll get close dancing and kiss your neck in the club, ayy /

I’m on fire with you, ayy.”

Later in the song, Bad Bunny alludes to the person he’s singing about as his “cowgirl,” which many have interpreted as a reference to Jenner’s renowned love of horses. In April, the couple was pictured riding horses together at the Hidden Hills Equestrian Centre in Bonsall.

The music video for “Un Preview,” which depicts a woman posing on horseback and Bad Bunny riding a toy pony, also contains a lot of equestrian imagery. One TikTok user compared the photos to Stella McCartney’s previous fashion ad, which featured Jenner reclining on horseback.

Still not convinced? Hold on tight, for there’s more where that came from.

“I don’t listen to advice, no,” Bad Bunny says in the chorus. “Really crazy in the club, I’ll get close dancing and kiss your neck / Let them get mad.”

Some were quick to criticise Bad Bunny on social media for his involvement with Jenner (and, by implication, the contentious Kardashian empire) — hence the line “Let them get mad,” and the lyrics about club dancing.

It’s also worth noticing that in the music video, Bad Bunny looks to be wearing a classic Dodgers baseball cap – possibly an ode to Jenner’s Southern California roots?

Despite being seen together multiple times in recent months — at Coachella, the 2023 Met Gala, a Lakers game, a Drake concert, and so on — neither Bad Bunny nor Jenner has remarked publicly on their relationship.

However, the Grammy winner did identify himself as someone’s new “boyfriend” in “Un Preview,” so, yeah, do with that information what you will.
