Bhubaneswar: A Bhubaneswar-bound flight from New Delhi was diverted to Kolkata due to Nor’wester rains here on Wednesday.
According to reports, the Biju Patnaik International Airport authorities diverted Vistara UK 785 Delhi-Bhubaneswar flight due to bad weather. The flight had left Delhi at 7 AM and scheduled to reach Bhubaneswar at 9.05 AM.
Likewise, thousands of train passengers experienced inconvenience at Bhubaneswar Railway Station due to water-logging at the station owing to roof leakage.
Rail services on Bhadrak-Bhubaneswar-Puri route were also affected after snapping of wires and signals stopped functioning due to the rains.
