OFDC pays Rs 2.95 crore dividend to Odisha govt

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Forest Development Corporation (OFDC) on Friday paid a dividend of Rs 2.95 crore to the state government for the year 2017-18.

A cheque of this amount was handed over to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Secretariat by Forest secretary Suresh Chandra Mohapatra. OFDC chairman Gagan Dhal and MD Rajiv Kumar were present.

Presently, the paid of equity capital of OFDC is Rs 5 crore fully subscribed by the Government of Odisha. Its gross turn over in 2017-18 was Rs 797.25 crore and the post-tax profit was at Rs 19.68 crore.
