Bhubaneswar: In a major big push to the skill development sector in Odisha, the State Government has signed as many as five MoUs to boost skill development and technical education in the State.
Commissioner-cum-Secretary, SDTE Department, Sanjay Kumar Singh said Odisha will be the preferred destination and store house of skilled professionals in the world.
FICCI and OSDA will collaborate for promoting a robust ecosystem of training and recruitment, he added.
Bangalore based Schneider Electric India Foundation which is known as a leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, will collaborate with Odisha government for the Electrical Programme as per requirement of industries.
Similarly, Yess Consultants, Delhi, having expertise in Placement Consulting Agency, will collaborate with Central Placement Cell of DTE&T, Odisha for placement of the students pursuing Diploma Education and Training in reputed organizations.
Pune based Tech Mahindra Limited a reliable leader in digital transformation, consultancy and business will collaborate with Central Placement Cell of DTE&T, Odisha for placement of students pursuing Diploma Education and ITI Training.
