Bhubaneswar: All the private and government schools will remain closed on 10 September 2018 in view of the Bharat Bandh call given by the Congress Party over the fuel price rise.
In view to maintain peace and law and order and for the convenience of the students in the State, all the schools will remain closed, said School and Mass Communication Department Secretary Pradipta Kumar Majhi today.
Earlier, the State Government had directed all the district collectors to take preventive measures to maintain law and order and to ensure maintenance of essential services in the district on the particular day.
Notably, the Congress Party will organise a nationwide protest on 10 September 2018 over the rising fuel prices and demanding a reduction in central excise duties.
