You can’t beat Shah Rukh Khan when it comes to witty comebacks. He doesn’t hold back from cracking jokes at his expense either and knows how to give it back to trolls.
His fans and haters got to see his hilarious side again during his latest Twitter AMA session held on Wednesday, June 6.
One Twitter user took a jibe at him and asked, “Why don’t u react or give ur views on Kashmir riots..Bengal riots..illegal settlement of Rohingyas, Bangladeshis & Missionary activities of conversions in south India ?? Are u confined only to MAKEUP & Fashion Dress ??? (sic)” the tweet read.
SRK has spoken at length about how his name gets dragged into several controversies, and how even politically correct statements have attracted flak. So, he replied to the troll, “I would reply to u but I don’t know if u r appropriately and fashionably dressed for my reply”
His tweet drew much appreciation from his fans, and became the most retweeted tweet from his #SRKSession.
SRK’s statements about intolerance in India in 2015, received so much hate and flak, that it affected the business of his film Dilwale. SRK later publicly apologised and said that his statement had been “misconstrued”.
This is a common occurrence with the big celebrities, and Aamir Khan has faced the brunt of this as well. His wife Kiran Rao, made a statement about intolerance in India, and how it frightened her. Instantly, people flared up, and there were violent protests against him as well.
