After sending a divorce notice to actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, his wife Aaliya has stayed in the news. Aaliya joined Twitter on Wednesday because she said she had to speak up for herself and reveal the truth.
In a series of tweets, Aaliya trashed rumours and clarified that she was not into any relationship, and that she is going to stay strong for her children. “I am now learning to stand up & speak for myself, be strong, for the sake of my children. I have not done any wrong till date & therefore I am not worried. However I do not appreciate anyone harming my reputation or character to save someone else. Money can’t buy truth,” she tweeted.

Money can’t buy truth,” she tweeted.The divorce notice was sent on May 7 through email and WhatsApp due to the unavailability of speed post amid the coronavirus pandemic, lawyer for Aaliya, Abhay Sahai had said earlier this week.
Speaking to Times of India, Aaliya’s lawyer Abhay said that she has ‘suffered a lot’ and it is a difficult time for her. “She is managing the kids all alone, she is in Mumbai and it’s very difficult for a single mother, as of now taking care of kids, single handedly,” he said. Aaliya is also seeking custody of both their kids who are currently with her.
Speaking to ABP News Aaliya said she was had multiple reasons that drove her to this. “There is not one reason but several reasons behind my problems with Nawaz. And, all these reasons are very serious.” She added that she had changed her name back to Anjana Anand Kishore Pandey two months ago.
The 45-year-old actor is currently in his hometown Budhana, Uttar Pradesh, with his family members, where he reached on May 12 after getting the necessary permission for travel from the authorities in Maharashtra.

Nawazuddin and Aaliya, who got married in 2009, have two children. Previously, the actor had a short-lived arranged marriage with Sheeba.
