Bhubaneswar: Pruthvi Ballabh Patnaik, son of former Chief Minister Janaki Ballabh Patnaik, has shown his desire to contest from the Begunia constituency of Khordha district.
Speaking to media persons, Prithvi Ballabh said today that he is interested to stand from Begunia constituency and if the Congress party gives him ticket, he will try his best.
Further, he said the party had a good base in the Begunia-Bolagarh area and he aims to further strengthen the party there.
While Prithvi Ballabh is optimistic of getting the ticket, party working president Chiranjib Biswal has said that final list of tickets has not been finalized yet.
